Electro Acupuncture Therapy- Nadipathy

Electro acupuncture is quite similar to traditional acupuncture in that the same points are stimulated during treatment. As with traditional acupuncture, needles are inserted on specific points along the body. These needles are than attached to a device that generates continuous electric pulses during small clips. These devices are used to adjust the frequency and intensity of the impulses being delivered, depending on the condition being treated. Electro acupuncture uses two needles at a time so that the impulses can pass from one needle to the other. Several pairs of needles can be stimulated simultaneously, usually for no more 20 to 30 minutes at a time. It is a procedure in which low levels of low electrical current from a stimulating device are run through the acupuncture needles while they are retained in the patient. Electrical currents have stimulating effects, which can influence cells, tissues and entire systems.  This procedure is especially effective for certain types of painful conditions ranging from tennis elbow to treating low back and neck pain. It can help reduce total treatment time by providing the continuous stimulus; it is easier to control the frequency of the stimulus and the amount of stimulus than with hand manipulation of the needles. In this process it can also release of chemical mechanisms enhances the body natural healing abilities.
While electro acupuncture may be used as a component of almost all acupuncture treatments, it is has garnered especially good results regarding the treatment of neurological diseases, chronic pains, spasms, and paralysis. Electro Acupuncture Therapy@ Nadipathy

Electro acupuncture is a form of acupuncture where a small electric current is passed between pairs of acupuncture needles. According to some acupuncturists, this practice augments the use of regular acupuncture, can restore health and well-being, and is particularly good for treating pain. There is evidence for some efficacy (when used in addition to antiemetics) in treating moderate post-chemotherapy vomiting, but not for acute vomiting or delayed nausea severity.

As with traditional acupuncture, needles are inserted on specific points along the body. The needles are then attached to a device that generates continuous electric pulses using small clips.
